GEMINI
The Rock album GEMINI is available! This album is somewhat dark in my lyrics with stories about excessive drug use, alcohol, floods and more. Regarding the flood song “Down The River” I was in Nashville the weekend they had the big floods which is what I based the song “Down The River” on. My buddy Ken and I got kicked out of Tootsies Bar by the Police when the water was coming up the street. We tried to get an earlier flight but flights were delayed and so I spent a couple extra days there. The song “Suga” was my time at a bachelor party at a strip club. Going with a bunch of young adults with their lack of stripper bar experience was very entertaining. The song “One More Time” was a dedication to all the great musicians who lost their lives as a result of drug overuse. And the song “Boys and Toys” is a favorite with kids of all ages!
The Game
The Rock album The Game is now available! The album was originally recorded using the name Speed Limit 40 but the songs nor album was never promoted. The album was re-released under MIKE PARR USA in 2021. My favorite song on the album is “U Drive Me” as it has a driving rhythm, great progressive-rock style lead guitar and a California beach surfing theme!
A Little Faith
The Rock album “A Little Faith” is still available! This album was released in 2004 receiving radio airplay from several states in the US for the songs, “A Little Faith, “The Children” and “Another Life”.
